In 2008, my wife and I decided we wanted to move closer to our families, so we decided to purchase land in Palisades. We actually spent quite a bit of time developing houseplans with another builder, but decided to do our due diligence and bid our plans out to a few local builders. After receiving a quote from and meeting with Marc and Greg, my wife and I immediately felt comfortable with them- more-so than any builder we met with during our selection process. Undertaking a new-home construction during the economic conditions of 2008-2009 was extremely overwhelming and scary, but Marc and Greg worked with us every step of the way, answering any questions we had and any concerns that arose. We also appreciated the convenience of having them secure permits, attend town board meetings on our behalf, and do a lot of the behind-thescenes work during the process. During the time of our construction, we exchanged thousands of emails, texts and phone calls. Their communication with us was exceptional, and they were willing to meet with us at any time we asked. Having never designed a new home before, we relied on their experience and expertise regarding selections, changes and options that came up along the way. I stopped by the construction site virtually every day on my way home from work, and Fred spent time with me showing me what was done that particular day. Aside from being one of the nicest guys in the world, Fred's work as a master craftsman is impeccable. People are shocked when I tell them we built a house from scratch and didn't have one single issue with our builder. No hiccups, no hidden expenses, no surprises. And when all was said and done, not only did we have our dream-home, but we also developed a friendship with Marc and Greg, and their families. I've recommended them to friends and clients, and am thankful that we made the right decision to work with Comito Construction.
